The Malt Shovel Inn is situated conveniently off J12 of the M40 – we are only two minutes from the slip road – making us the perfect break in your journey, a place to stop for a business lunch, or just a great pub to come for some home cooked food and welcoming atmosphere.

Just up the road from us is the Heritage Motor Centre, which is well worth a visit throughout the year whether it is classical cars or go karts you are after.
You can get a drink, snack or three-course meal at lunchtime or in the evening, seven days a week. We have a non-smoking restaurant, a welcoming bar, and a unique ‘stage’ area where you can relax on a comfy sofa below a stained glass window. Be warned, you won’t want to leave!
